The Notary
The notary is a legal professional simultaneously exercising a public function for providing citizens with legal certainty that promises the Constitution (art. 9 °) in the field of extra-legal transactions. It has a proven legal training and is selected through a rigorous training to ensure their position.The Spanish notary is part of the International Union of Latin Notaries, an association of notaries which joins all of continental Europe notaries (Germany, France, Italy, etc..), including countries from Eastern Europe (Russia, Lithuania, Hungary, Czech and Slovak Republics, Slovenia) and being in the process of incorporating the remaining, including a large number of African countries, of which the most recently built is South Africa, throughout Latin America, and the province of Quebec in Canada, and the state of Louisiana in the United States, Turkey and Japan in Asia, and it is rapidly expanding and soon will total nearly one hundred countries, all with a notarized similar, consisting of independent professionals, invested with the power to provide public faith or authenticity to the acts involved and to ensure the safety of individuals in the transactions.Notaries are organized by Associations, supporting them in their role and controlling their actions, which are coordinated by the General Council of Notaries, hierarchically belonging to the Ministry of Justice."Información general del Consejo General del Notariado de España" |
